5 month warranty?

I started experiencing stick drift after 6 months of ownership of my last one. I am confident Microsoft knew about this issue when choosing the warranty term.

Wish I was able to use the rechargeable batteries I currently have for this controller, but doesn’t fit the back. Still a great product tho.
