It kind of sticks and makes a loud snap noise when returning to normal. Feels mushy and wrong when pressing down. The other buttons are also starting to feel mushy as well. May try to fix it, but moved to a new controller for now.

Drifting occurred within 6 months to year of use. Returned and exchanged, got lucky there was only 1 left at another store out of state. If traded for another style due to availability Best Buy was only going to offer $30 and some change for exchange. Microsoft and Playstation need to provide higher quality parts for their controllers. Moreso a them issue then a bestbuy issue.

I’ll never buy a special one again they all break at the same speed

Also, a C-port charger cable should be added to these controllers since the charging port on the controller was changed from the conventional USB port.

Shameful 90 day warranty - Failed after 9 months

I have 4 Xbox 360 controllers that still work fine (they look worn, but work great). Microsoft knows their current controllers don't last which is why they only offer a 90 day warranty on them. I'm not buying another one.
