Great controller, but got a defective one.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always use the Xbox brand controllers when I play games on my PC. Most games for PC that support a controller normally support an Xbox controller with no issue, I've been using a Ice blue model 1708 for a while and love it. Recently for Christmas I was given a new Xbox controller (Model 1914) and was happily shock how Microsoft was able to improve an already great controller. The triggers feel tighter, the controller flex is even less than before (close to the Elite V2's solid body) and I love the feel of the D-pad and if you have it set up to do it on windows, there is a new share button. Unfortunately, the right joystick was a rough when doing a circle test. Moving the joystick in a complete circle to see if it is catching, or rubbing on the rim more that it should be. It almost felt like ridges were on the bottom of the casing. I ended up taking it to BestBuy for an exchange but they did not have this color in stock. So I had them order it.

Not made to last!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this controller about 10 months and the pad is already getting stuck, drifting and it’s disconnecting itself from my Xbox. I’ve never dropped or damaged it in any way. My advice is do not purchase without an extended warranty. These controllers are not made to last! I gave it 2 stars because when it works it works great. Problem is it doesn’t last even a year. For the price they need to do better!

xboxdrv compatible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works on openSuSE, as long as you have the drivers installed. I am only giving 4, instead of 5 stars because it is not plug-and-play on Linux, and requires some non-trivial work in install drivers (xow needs to be compiled, and xboxdrv needs to be installed from you package manager), but once that's out of the way, it works well, and I like the color and style

Button issue.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.X button sticks when tapping quickly! Will return. In comparison to older xbox 360 controller, nicer finish and better analog stick and directional pad. XYBA buttons however seem like a step back, more mushy in general. Bluetooth convenience nice over old wireless receiver, but was expecting more after all these years. Same latency.

New design makes it harder for disabled people to
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My daughter tried to purchase this for me for my birthday but being that I'm disabled these new controller seem to be smaller and harder to hold on to I like the thickness of the old Xbox One controller but I've had a very difficult time whether it be online or calling a store and having people hang up on me to find one had to return it
