Microsoft had me send it in only to receive a refurbished item with markings on it from prior use. I do not recommend buying these cheap controllers. I end up buying a new one every year because they make them so cheap now. Customer support with microsoft is absolutely terrible as well and difficult to actually get ahold of someone. Switch to PC or Playstation. Stop wasting money on Microsoft junk.
