Watched online video about quality control issues on this controller, left stick auto forwards during play. Video online explained that it was due to cheap parts. This was my 2nd return in a few months, so I bought a compatible controller from another brand.

The controller didn’t last long as others. It’s a Microsoft product and the only one I’ve ever had an issue with but the analog stick is stuck and movement happens without me wanting it to. Only lasted about 6 months.

Due to new store contact policies. Inability to reach the local store by phone to get help I canceled all orders from Best Buy’s. They don’t want my business!

I bought this after a previous controller had issues with the home button. It turns out this one also had the same issue. I had to press down really hard on the home button for it to work.

Couldn't get it to run on my PC. I thought this controller already came equipped with prebuilt wireless adapter but it turned out that wasn't the case. Perhaps, I need to go out and buy a Microsoft xbox usb wireless adapter in order to get it to work on my PC. This is very frustrating.

      Hello Konrad,

We're sorry that there's an issue using your new Xbox wireless controller with Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth. If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.

Once that is complete you will also need to make sure the controller firmware is up to date by checking for additional updates within the Xbox Accessories app. If you continue to experience a problem, please check with our team at Xbox Support for assistance here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/wireless-controller-solution

      Hope that helps,

I was really hoping Microsoft would’ve stepped up their controller quality game and man they didn’t. My first controller broke within a month the right trigger just start sticking. This is very disheartening as that’s one huge thing the Xbox had Against it was it’s crappy controllers.

Broke after a year and a half. Won't power on even when connected with a usb cable. Microsoft has no repair options. Never had an issue with any other controller breaking. Bad product quality and bad support. I expect better of a $2 trillion company.
