Came defective (home button didn’t work properly, X button issues too). Reason for the 1 star is Best Buy refused to take it back (only had it for 21 days) because I wasn’t an “elite” member. Meaning I didn’t spend enough money with them yearly. However if I spent more money with them and was an elite member, they WOULD have taken it back. So they CAN. They just chose not to. Won’t buy from them again.

Left thumb stick started having issues a few weeks after purchase. This such a common problem Xbox controllers, so you just have to learn to play around the problem if possible. Microsoft needs to find a better way to make these controllers last.

Controller buttons work stuck. And was sent the wrong color. But I was refunded back.

I've had this for 5 months and it now stopped working. I contacted Microsoft support and they informed me that they only guarantee these controllers for 3 months. So even Microsoft doesn't trust their own product to last up to a year since don't warranty it that long. No wonder they're getting sued for faulty controllers.

Control started to drift after a few days of playing with it , poor quality controller if this is the design of the controller I can only imagine how horrible the game condition can be . Xbox has released another horrible item . Just like I’m sure Starfield gonna be pre order cancelled

I know it's supposed to be original, but it feels so cheap, and even sometimes doesn't reacts when I play fifa or brawlhala. The a button feels cheap, pressing it is to loud. I can tell it definitely doesn't have same quality as others.

So, i picked up my controller a couple days before black Friday and when they came out to my car as I picked it up curbside, I grabbed it and put it on my seat and didn't really look at it until I was eating lunch down the street and there was a huge hole in the box like a very sharp corner of something smashed into it. Now i didn't have enough time to turn around and return it so I took the chance and figured if it was in any damaged i would return it. I just couldn't believe that they obviously saw the hole and still gave it to me without asking if it was ok or if i wanted a different one. Kind of a crappy thing to do. The controller works great, just know that if you have a older charging station the cover wont fit on these new controllers.

The x button remain pressed when i press it sometimes.

Product was not packaged well. The actual box of the controller heals several holes and fell apart quickly. The controller box was in a bag, not a cardboard box, which is why it got damaged so easily. I expected better from best buy

Third controller where right bumper stops working. Microsoft needs to rework their design

started having drift issues within two years. Unbelievable as these controllers are expensive. I will be buying aftermarket ones from now on.

Buyer Beware. Microsoft is creating these controllers substandard. I have already gone through 2 in a month. They lose responsiveness within a few weeks and the springs are noisy like nails on a chalkboard. Stick with your old controllers. Disgusting.

So yesterday this Stellar Shift controller was $59.99 now the second day of their "3-day sale it is now $69.99???? I guess that's inflation for you. !

Awful controller. I bought a red and blue and not long after the warranty they both experienced horrible drift. MS quality is trash.

Preorder was delayed. Seems quite a few people have had it delayed from release date. Will update this when it changes (this is mainly to make people aware, true review coming when controller arrives)

I haven’t received it. It’s been delayed since Nov 28th. Apparently no one at Best Buy can help me.
