As a young teen, he had purchased cheaper off-brands and used equipment only to have them stop working properly within a couple of months. This controller responds quickly and with more accuracy than the knock-offs he was using previously. While I personally think the price is crazy for something like this, if it brings him happiness, it is worth it.

Set up / sync controller with your x-box and you are set. Everything has a smooth motion and fits very well in your hands. I would recommend this product

Windows recognizes it right away and works on everything. It’s good quality and isn’t a 3rd party controller or knock off. If you’re in the market for one pick it up!
