It could just be my own bias talking since I spent the extra cash on this controller vs the standard, but the triggers and thumb sticks feel more responsive than the usual controller. Aesthetically, the controller is near perfect. The layout of the controller matches perfectly to the ship controls on Starfield, granted that you can stick with the game long enough to notice. Dissatisfaction with the game aside, the controller itself is probably the single best looking officially licensed Xbox controllers I've ever owned.

She loves the simple white color, textured thumbtacks, and the high quality feel and texture all around the controller. It was worked perfectly for years and even lasts through drops onto hard floors with no damage.

The grips and triggers feel very good and better than other controllers. Also FYI when connected to your series x it gives you a dynamic theme.

Its not slippery at all (has a little grippiness to the texture) and the buttons are firm and work just like they need to. The battery pack is a little different so I had to get a different charger. I didn't realize when I bought it that it was actually for the new Xbox but is compatible with XBox One. Not a big deal though...

But if you enjoyed the Xbox one controller, then this is the much more refined version of just that. The controller feels very good in the hands and not cheap like plastic. I love the added textured grips in the back and on the triggers. When you’re someone like me who’s palms get sweaty when playing intense competitive games, then it’s a much appreciated feature. Plus the red color looks great in person, very eye catching. I do appreciate Microsoft sticking with “it ain’t broke don’t fix it” approach for this next generation on their controllers.
