However, after I synced it to my Xbox One, it updated the firmware on the controller, and it started working fine when connected to my PC.

Thank you for sharing your experience with your new Xbox Wireless Controller. If you continue to have any issues with the Bluetooth connection to your Windows 10 PC, we also recommend updating Windows to its most recent version. We hope you have a lot of fun playing games with this controller.
