It feels like they've upgraded the build quality on this newer generation of controllers. Feels very solidly made and I'm confident it will have a long life even with a teenager who's not "delicate" with things all the time.

I don't feel like the quality of the plastic is great, it feels lighter and weaker. But it's the Xbox controller which is a solid controller overall.
