However, having previously used the original game controller, then "upgrading" to another game control of the same type, only a different color, I can confidently say that there is an impressive upgrade between the original controller and this one. The d-pad feels more responsive and the grips on the trigger make a HUGE difference when playing for long hours. You can't go wrong with this purchase, whether for you or a gift for someone else.

Cheaper than custom options in Xbox store and you get semi rubber grips on the back and a cool unique paint job. Sold out at most places except Best Buy. Get tons of compliments on it when I travel. A little better build than stock controller.
