Texted plastic grips, not rubberized like the special edition controllers in the same price range. Color is nice and I was certain it would glow nicely in my game room with a black light, so I would be able to find it easier. I was sorely disappointed to find out that not only does it fail to glow in the light, it actually becomes darker and harder to see!

The triggers are clear as well, may be one of the coolest collector controllers I've seen yet. Way better than just a different paint job.
