In addition to this controller working well so far, my son loves the design of it. We've had consistent issues with the headphone jack getting broken with past controllers, so we're hoping this one breaks that cycle!

My only complaint is that it can't use the rechargable battery because of the unique design.

We're glad that you're enjoying your new Xbox wireless controller for the most part. If you're using a Xbox Play & Charge Kit for Xbox One, you may use the same rechargeable battery but will need to use a standard USB-C to USB-A cable with it. Otherwise, we recommend using the Xbox Rechargeable Battery and USB-C Cable for Xbox Series X/S.
