Poor Quality Control

The overall design of the controller is much better than the original Xbox One controller but the quality control is quite poor. The controller gets stuck on the adhesive inside it. The right trigger would stay compressed after letting go. There was also an issue where the Y button would not register on occasion. You can easily find stories on Reddit if you want to do more research. That is not something you want to deal with during the entirety of your ownership process. If you need a controller for PC I would not recommend this at all. If you are on the Xbox Platform and need a controller I recommend putting it through the works during the first 15 days to see if there are any defects so that you can return or exchange the controller. I also recommend the Geek Squad 2 year warranty as you can easily replace the controller if any issues arise.

It’s smoother than the original Xbox One controller and, because of the cool color, my kid can’t steal it. It works perfect on my Xbox One and my new Series X.

They can get drift easier then Xbox one controllers and are more easily damaged with spills of even small water. Issues aside, controller is the most accessible and comfortable.

Make you sure purchase or own a USB C cable if you plan to plug into a PC or your xbox.
