For this to be a next GEN controller it is definitely lacking on the next GEN part. The new PlayStation controller is leaps N bounds better than this one Xbox definitely missed out on a chance to make a great controller even better.

Didn't realize the warranty was that short on a new controller or maybe I would have bought extended coverage. Previous controller has lasted me for years, but the new one barely made it past the warranty period. I called microsoft and they wouldn't do anything, just told me to take it some where to get it fixed. It was not abused and still looks brand new. I have ordered a replacement analog stick in the hopes of salvaging something from this controller. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I will be hesitant to buy another MS controller any time soon.
