Microsoft has "committeemen to fixing this issue," but four months after I have bought it is still a paper weight. There has been a firmware update for Windows, but it didn't solve the issue and the newer firmware updates can only be installed via Xbox Series X/S. Can be used wired, but that is far from a fix.

We're sorry that there's an issue using your new Xbox wireless controller with Windows 10 PC through Bluetooth. If you are still experiencing this issue please ensure you have the latest service update for Windows. You can find available Windows updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates on your Windows 10 PC. In some cases, there may be a button that says “View optional updates”, and you may be required to click there to find the update.

Double A batteries disconnect for half second

Microsoft said they did it to increase usability for children, the problem is, it is now less usable by an adult. Expect hand strain when using. In addition I had issues with random disconnects when trying to use it on PC. Going to return both and get the Dual Sense instead.

Broke in approximately 6 months

As of 5/11/24, the controller has stick drift. The controller only has a 90-day warranty. I have other controllers that are over 2-years old that still work. This product is a waste of money.

Stick Shift Problem!!!

Because unfortunately the Xbox joystick continues to suffer from what is called,stick shift! And if this continues,it well be a bad karma on the Xbox brand!!! So i hope indeed Microsoft will fix this problem!!! And soon as possible!!!

The color shifting in the light looked great and everything, and I would definitely would recommend this controller to any Xbox gamer out there. Unfortunately, the controller felt big in my already big hands and it wasn't as comfortable as the DualShock 4, DualSense, Switch Pro controller, or even the Stadia controller. I'm more used to the symmetrical analog sticks. Otherwise, it is a great controller that I would definitely recommend to almost anyone.
