You cannot go wrong when you buy Microsoft goods! Best buy is the leader in quality products & their team will get you all the informaiton you desire. For me, this involved buying my daughter a new controller for her xbox series. The rep pulled up my previous order of the console and matched the color for me! I hadn't even thought about that! Superb quality. Great button mapping. Microsoft backed!

Comparing the Xbox one controller vs this one is the middle button used for screenshots/video playback. Its in a horrible spot. This can be disabled through xbox app. After a few months or year or so eventually thumbstick drift happens, the A,B,X,Y buttons get loose to where you can accidentally double or triple press them. Your triggers will start to squeak, and your shoulder buttons may stop working. If you have this controller already use it until its unuseable. Wait for a sale and pick one up. 6/10 Microsoft needs to put better quality parts in all their controllers, it costs as much as an AAA game...

The triggers and grips are textured. Very standard feel of a controller. This controller also supports the new rechargeable battery packs that use type-c charging.
