Buy this not their Elite controller.

Only time will tell if the normal Xbox controller will have the same points of failure as their Elite controller counterparts. If you play any game(s) that heavily use the shoulder buttons (LB/RB) get these controllers and not the Elite controllers that are known to have heavy failures in those buttons. My second Elite controller's RB button is now failing less than a year of ownership.

Only thing to note is that you may have to update the firmware for certain devices to work with. This will require usbc cord and device that is capable of updating it.

Why Mircosoft.

Why Microsoft? Why must you still dish out crappy controllers that require double A batteries or a battery pak? Be like Sony and include controllers that can be charged. If you are ok with crappy battery paks or double A batteries, I guess its fine. If you got the extra money to blow, get the elite controller. Its an impulse buy but still feels premium.
