    It seems like Microsoft fixed the issues from previous generations with this controller. It's a no-brainer if you catch it on sale. Everybody in the family has been using the exact controllers for years without issue. (That was unheard of with previous iterations.)

    The Pulse Red is a disappointment (as a color), as a controller mine was perfectly functional even as a discounted open box but I suspect it was returned because its not as red as most would like and the underside is white for some strange reason.

    The new control is awesome. I love the feel, the ergonomics, textures, everything. The only bad thing is that it kept disconnecting from my laptop (using bluetooth). It's an update thing, but something I came to find after an extensive google search
