Quality going downhill

They just don't last. We still have our original XB 360 controllers and they work great but this is my 5th replacement controller since we upgraded to an XB X 2 years ago. that's after we also had to replace the controllers on our older XB 1S twice in the 3 years we used it. I would purchase an elite controller but the replacement parts are the same cost as a regular controller so I'm just buying these disposable 6 month life span devices
