When pairing it to Steam, I noticed certain buttons were unresponsive. These were X, A, and the left button and trigger up top. I used the Steam controller configuration and testing, outside of any game, to notice those button "died". I caught this controller and another red one on sale during the past holiday. I paired them both up to my laptop and had no issues. I didn't have too change any settings in Steam. Just plug and play....

Stunning controller!

The color is exactly what is on the box and has a very beautiful iridescent coloring to it when you move it around and when the light hits it. It is absolutely gorgeous.

And what better to use than a Microsoft controller. It is comfortable, responsive, and pairs quickly via blue-tooth. I use rechargeable batteries but normal batteries work just fine. It lasts a pretty long time on one set of batteries. I'm using it to play No Man's Sky as well as Conan Exiles.
