Only downside is that it is still just an Xbox Series controller; meaning no Hall Effect sensors, no back paddles or extended functionality.

Love the new series X controls with the improved D-pad, and textured grip on the rear. Feels way more premium than the Xbox one controls.

The design is minimalistic, yet elegant. The quality appears to be sturdy. Best Buy shipped it within a few days. From the description I was missing the information about whether it can be used in a wired mode. Luckily it can, via the USB C port. In that case the controller does not need batteries either, making it even lighter. T minus 6 days until lift off!!!

My kids are so rough on them and this one is still going strong. I really like the underside has grip on it. It just feels good holding it. Absolutely worth buying

If you are new to the Xbox this makes an excellent extra controller for multiplayer, and if you're on PC like myself this controller gives you the natural console feel that's absent from keyboard and mouse. This is my daily driver for Steam gaming, and I confidently recommend you try it.
