I'm skeptical of joystick drift, especially from the last batches of XBOX One controllers, so I'm leaving this as a 4 star review. That out of the way, it's probably the best controller for the money for PC games. This updated version feels a bit nicer, still light, but with some grippier textures underneath. The sticks feel really smooth and you don't have to jam on them to click. Windows 10 ohhh... almost forgot! Okay, out of the box, this pairs easily with Windows 10 bluetooth. However, you will then need to connect it with a USB cable and update the firmware with a Microsoft app (Google it). It did not work with Battlefield 5 out of the box. These kinds of things don't bother me much, but it was important to mention. Anyway, go ahead and buy for PC.

Its a pretty controller the only thing with this one is the buttons feel more stiff and like you have to press harder for them to work.

Love the feel of the new Xbox controllers… the review of this is more for the Best Buy protection plan though… I go through a controller every couple months… playing FPS games kills my joysticks… at $60+ a pop they get kind of expensive to replace, but I started buying from Best Buy and picked up the protection plan with it and just bring back the broken controller swap it out for a new one, rinse and repeat… love it. Thanks Best Buy!

Good xbox controller as item is described. If you don't want to cough up the extra funds for an elite controller for the xbox and just want theentry level xbox controller or just like how this controller feels as a alternative for your PC this is it. Im not a big fan of buying any off brands when it comes to controllers unless your strap for money even then you can save a little money for sales like I did for Black Friday or Cyber Monday or even your local Gamestop for a used one.

I was somewhat disappointed with the Xbox controller. It’s been years since I’ve used one, and was expecting better quality. The base controller does not come with a rechargeable battery pack. You have to spend another $20-$30 if you don’t want to keep buying AA batteries. Come on Microsoft… Sony Dual Shock controllers all come with rechargeable barriers built in… At $60 I would expect this controller to be rechargeable. The A-B-X-Y buttons felt cheap and were not enjoyable to use. They were hard to press, kinda sticky, and overall just not a great experience. Triggers, bumpers, and sticks were fine enough. No complaints. Connecting to my Windows 11 desktop was a breeze and made playing certain games on PC way more enjoyable. Controller is customizable if you use the Xbox app on your PC. If you don’t mind spending $60 for a mediocre controller experience with no rechargeable batteries then this is the one for you. Otherwise, you might be better off going with a third party controller or upgrading to the Elite controller. I ended up returning it and getting an Elite controller instead.

Red gives you +10 to coolness. And the rest is just to meet the character minimum.
