Lack of a battery pack was a bit of a letdown, but you can buy rechargeable batteries for pretty cheap and it's easy to switch them out when needed.

If you need a secondary controller it’s solid

But understand that means if your planning on charging it forget the elite charging case it won’t work. That being said it does not come with the usb power cord or a charging battery so plan on feeding this between every 6 to 8 hours of straight gameplay of two AA batteries.
