The main differences being that it has texturing on the buttons, making them feel more tactile. It also has a new share button that so far has done nothing for me. I use mine solely on Pc and it does me very well.

Works great, but I am disappointed that the rechargeable battery pack doesn't fit under the cover of this new model. So it's either charge without the cover, alter the controller to fit the other back, or find a new rechargeable battery pack that allows the cover to close.

Works well with a PC and Gamepass! Note that this controller uses 2 AA batteries (not rechargeable) - for me it's more than enough.
