open-box controller, should have left it closed

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ordered an open-box controller listed as 10 excellent condition to replace my worn-out controller with serious stick drift issues. Sorry to say, the controller I received looked worn, included incorrect parts and was even more worn out than the old controller I was replacing, and had even worse drift. Disappointing. On the plus side, return was easy and service was fine when I returned it the local BB store. Sales person was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I'll take 25% of the blame for being frugal and going after an open-box in the first place, but what I received was not what was advertised. I've had good luck with other open-box items over the years at BB, but on this one, my luck ran out.

Great evolution of the Xbox Controller

Textured back is a nice addition, and the new Dpad is the best any standard Xbox controller has ever had. Have had no disconnects or syncing issues. Battery life seems good, around 20 hours or so. Everything button and stick on the controller sounds a little more "clicky" than previous controllers however. It is by no means a dealbreaker, but it is a little noticeable for late night gaming sessions.
