Ordered an “Open Box: Excellent” condition controller and received my package shortly after. The controller had a stark grey scuff on the left side and another circular grey scuff on the right side, as well as a layer of dust over the entire surface of the controller. BestBuy describes “Open Box: Excellent” as “A product that looks and works like new” which was not what I received. I tried to contact BestBuy over chat to get it sorted. I was fine with the scuff as long as I got a partial refund for the difference of if the condition of the item was “good” or “fair”. They refused to give me a partial refund and told me to go return it at my closest BestBuy which is over 2 hours away. I’m frustrated because I now have to waste my precious time talking to reps and get this sorted because BestBuy falsely advertised the condition of my order. I’ve ordered a few Open Box items from here before and never had any issues, but not this time. Not shopping here anymore if BestBuy continues to refuse to help me out with an issue they created.

Nothing works than a new controller. The red camouflage looks fantastic.

Seems to stay charged longer than the one that comes with the actual xbox and feels better quality.

It’s a good controller, but the rechargeable battery door doesn’t fit with this controller.

Yeah, so i ordered and exellent condition Open Box controller for more than a new. Yeah i know dumb but had gift cards and the wife wanted a Pink Dream Vapor and out of stock new. It is suppose to be like new, almost no imperfections and in the original box. The box it came in looked like it was opened by a 5 year old. The controller has some rather questionable stains on and never cleaned. I have not used it yet, but already guessing it’ll have issues. Maybe they shouldn’t let ANY cashier do trade-ins and have some kind of quality check.

It's an Xbox controller, it works the way you expect it too. You get what you pay for.

Amazing controller!! Got it during the Black Friday sales and I had to purchased. Got 3 controls in different colors since I have 3 boys. Surround sound with the built in speak is awesome. Highly Recommend ... 10/10!!!

Controller is already acting weird after 3 months.

Joysticks feel cheap and aren’t completely covered with soft compound. Nice color, terrible feel.

Product arrived looking like it had been previously purchased. Box was in damaged shape and are marks on back of the controller.

The analog stickswill turn to a different color after use. Only had them for a few days before they became discolored and looks worn out. Tried cleaning but no luck. Will only buy xbox controllers with black analog sticks for now on.

Bought this controller almost a month ago, and immediately noticed the right trigger gets stuck. Super annoying for a brand new controller, especially considering the price! Trying to return it has been a huge hassle as well bc no store has the same color in stock, and I'm not willing to wait in line for half an hour in a crowded store during a pandemic. Overall extremely dissatisfied with my experience buying this product.

This is a controller for the Xbox Series X. It does the job just like the other controllers. I chose not to rate it 5 stars, because the color is not the same as the photos. It is a darker color than pictured, and I bought it because of the color. Maybe I got a glitched paint job? Lol

I needed a new controller and caught this red and black beauty on sale after thanksgiving. My favorite d-pad since the 16 bit days.
