I always like the white version more than any other color. This controller feels nice and sturdy. It's a great asset to have since many games on pc have the preset configurations for an xbox controller. This controller requires two AA batteries; which is nice because you can change the battery at any time. Other controller, which has an unremovable built-in lithium battery has a much shorter lifespan.

Nice controller for PC gaming

While I play games with my mouse and keyboard, there are still certain games that for me still require a controller to play. This is the newest version of the base controller for use with the Series X/S Xbox. For the most part the controller is the same as the previous models. They did add a bit of texture the backside of where you grip the controller, which I like. There is also a bit of texture added to the triggers which is nice as well and a button for being able to quickly take and share screenshots and gameplay.

I previously had a PS4 and was briefly using the dualshock. This controller feels great in my hands, and I love the matte, grip-texture on the back - helps a lot with sweaty palms. Joysticks and buttons feel good, everything feels like it has the "right" characteristic. My only complaint is that the share button has no function on PC, and can't be mapped to take a screenshot or video. I feel like this can be added in later, and doesn't affect Xbox naturally, so no bump in score.

This controller is excellent, it has an improved D Pad from the old controller that works a bit better in games that are aimed at the D Pad vs the left stick. The texture on the back of the controller and triggers are a welcome change and helps during long gaming sessions. The overall size of the controller is a tad bit more compact than the previous gen and thats not a con. Oh yea the shock blue color looks absolutely amazing.
