It is my second replacement in the last couple of years. Sure, they get some good use, but they are not abused. A longer warranty would be nice. Heck, new cars get a minimum of 3 years… and they live outside. :)

A tiny bit of stick drift on purchase but nothing unmanageable. Overall good product and will probably have for a couple years.

In terms of functionality there's nothing wrong. The build quality is solid. The buttons all have good press to them and everything registers fine. The solid, pure white color is gorgeous and so far the battery life seems to be pretty good. But there in-lies the problem. This is a new console controller released in 2020 and it DOESN'T HAVE A BUILT IN RECHARGABLE BATTERY!!! This is a standard feature in SO MANY other controllers, all the way back to the Playstation 3 Dualshock controller that I'm aware of. Why isn't it built in to this? PS4 and Nintendo Switch Pro controllers both have this feature, so why for roughly the same price can't Microsoft do the same? Get your act together, Microsoft. This is basic stuff we're talking about in this day and age.
