I mainly bought them since the latest model has some small improvements and the same price as the previous model. Might just be a placebo, but i find i enjoy these new ones slightly better.

Features extra button to record screen capture of clip capture. Also has more grip on handles. I didn't care about color, some colors are cheaper than others for some reason.

The thumbsticks feel amazing and the silicon grip underneath is amazing. And of courae it looks sick with the Doom theme. Highly recommended!

Very easy to setup and install for the xbox one. It has a great feel in my hands and works flawlessly. Glad I waited for this newer model. I like the basic black color. Very happy with the purchase.

Textures make it easier to grip and accurately control. The batteries set a little different and my Niko batteries and cover don't charge in it's cradle. Not a huge deal as I will likely look at some different rechargeable batterie options.

I've dropped it at least 10 times and its very durable. Stick drift is real on every controller I've had. I anticipate this will have the issue over time, but so far so good.

I wanted to replace her plain white Xbox one controller. She is completely blind so feel is very important to her when we play games together. I did my best to explain the awesome color scheme to her and she seems to really like it. I use to have sight as a child so she understands what I am describing to a large degree. She really likes how it feels in her hands therefore she is very satisfied. It is also very responsive enabling her react very quickly.

Sadly it does not recharge like other systems. invest in rechargeable AA's if you can. A bit small for my hands. Prefer xbox360 controller feel, but this is the best controller for the newer line of xboxs that I have tried. I bought 2 and have not had an issue with either
