It is a very sturdy and attractive controller. I will knock off one star due to lack of integrated battery system like the PS4 has. It is still convenient to use either batteries (rechargeables) or get a battery pack, but still an added cost. The black controller is pretty basic but gets the job done.

Great controller for long game sessions.

I mainly use it for gaming on my phone and it doesn't show any lag. I thought having AA batteries would be a downside but it is not. The controller last longer because of the batteries. The only problem I had was with the original price. I was able to find an open box item for less which made the purchase a smart choice.

I returned it for this slightly less expensive one and it worked. Aside from colors or themes, it seems there is no difference between the slightly more expensive ones and these. This controller feels the same as the more expensive one. You can probably save your money and just buy this. My only problem is the sticks feel like they are going to break over a short amount of time, which is what happened with the controller that came with my Xbox One X...Maybe this is one of the devices where it would pay to get the protection plan on it.
