Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it as a present for my Grandson[he has Xbox One S].He loves it..of course it is pricey and so new that no sales are out for it yet.He bound it and then it had an update to complete.He says it is responsive and has extra button functions he likes.I believe it will also Bluetooth to Windows 10 without a Dongle.If you need an Xbox Controller for your Xbox One,S or X you might as well get this one.

It's an Xbox controller. What's not to love?

This design has lasted the test of time, and each iteration just gets better. I use this for gaming on my Windows laptop; it connects seamlessly and is very responsive. Admittedly, I've only used this with the USB-C cable connected, so I can't review the performance via Bluetooth. However, previous versions of the Xbox controller have performed pretty well on consoles via the wireless function, so I doubt that would be an issue with laptop connectivity.
I would recommend this to a friendLong cable, covers a lot of distance.

It feels sturdy, but the "up" on the crosspad has already started resisting; I have to press it slightly more specifically to get it to respond. Which is weird, because I don't play intensely actiony games... this has started while I'm playing Final Fantasy 13!

I normally buy PS5 controllers for my PC but decided to try the Xbox. I have regrets. The Xbox controller is more seamless to connect with PC any layman can do it. But the controller itself is far lower quality.

Reminds me of 360 controller. The texture on the back is interesting. I’m not sure if I like it. Maybe if it breaks in some more it wouldn't be as rough. I think my X button is starting to stick also
