I bought this to use on my IPad Pro, but low and behold not requires updates to the controller itself….I don’t have Microsoft computers nor a Xbox so the controller is unusual e until I purchase one.

I got it up for PC so you might want to update the software so you will need to download Xbox accessories from the Microsoft store. But overall I would recommend it.

Alot bett than the previous gen with the changes made. Would definitely recommend the upgrade. Works well across all platforms although if you buy this for iPad you better have an Xbox or pc to update the firmware

Good for PC and Steam deck

Maybe, the fact that it was readily available at a decent price? Was able to purchase it quickly and included warranty on it since they do tend to get damaged from usage,

Normally that's a fairly intuitive process, so idk if I'm doing something wrong or it's an issue with the controller. Thankfully it comes with a long USB cable so I don't mind plugging in.

The grip texture took some getting used to (different than previous versions). I am only using for PC(Windows 10H, so I can not attest to using with Xbox.
