I'm not a super huge fan of the books but the movies are good and this game just continues to entertain me just like the movies do. The combat style isn't super repetitive, and the leveling system is just complex enough to not be hard to understand but complex enough to keep me interested. The system that allows enemies to level up as they kill you is awesome, you actually start to hate certain characters because they keep showing up and it feels really good when you finally beat someone that has killed you several times.

This is a must own for any LOTR fans. Solid gameplay and graphics plus this comes with all the DLC!!!

awesome game for 20 bucks. Been playing it ever since I bought it. The story is very long without including the side missions. You won't beat this game under 2 weeks It's very well done and I totally recommended.

There's some great things in this game like the combat and nemesis system. Unfortunately, the level design makes little sense, it's just one big map that you roam around picking up quests and killing things. Since so much of it is open roam, the story suffers.

This is an mazing game, and even better as the GOTY package. I'm glad I waited longer then I normally do.

If you like The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Assassins Creed- this is the game for you! It has the great lore from LOTR but the gameplay of AC!

Bought the standard edition when it first came out and it was one of the best games I had played. Now I bought the game of the year edition and it still beats most of the games that I have played since I stop playing the standard edition. If you like assassins creed series, I think you would like this game.

I got this game for my son and he absolutely loves it. In addition it was an incredible deal.

Good game to play for a bit, but I got bored with it and game it to my 12 year old! He loves it and plays it endlessly!

Kind of reminds me of assassins creed but a better base game.

I am enjoying this, but glad I waited and didn't pay full boat. Not a huge gamer, but this didn't pull me in like the Arkham games or Tomb Raider. The atmosphere eis good, just doesn't seem to have as coherent a story.

Not realistic enough, game play does feel natural and slow.
