This game is very fun and addictive! Has RPG elements and is like a mashup of Batman Arkham series, Assassins Creed,Gears Of war, and Warhammer Ultra Marines.

In the vain of the Assassins Creed games but more interesting with the Nemesis system to aid in the story line. Plus it is winning some Game of the Year awards.

Easily one of the best games to come out in 2014 and it is a sleeper in most cases. The games basically gives you the vast depth of Lord Of The Rings in a open world explorable setting full of power struggles mysteries and blood. If you love the combat in later Assassins Creed games and LOTR this is a must buy on that alone. Engaging story large world to explore gruesome battles to conquer 5/5

I was never really a big Lord of the Rings fan, but a few friends told me that it would appeal to me. Fun game, awesome graphics (PS4), great battle system.

This game is awesome in the fact that it has a vast open world and the AI remembers previous battles and adjusts accordingly. Very unique and a lot of fun!

Incredibly fun game where you combine the free flowing combat style with instant kills and free running. It's exactly the game that I've been waiting for!

Easy gameplay, pretty much a button masher with gameplay very similar to batman arkam asylem. Nice story as far as building a bridge between the hobbit and LOTR, plus you find put more about the ring.

Played the game for hours. I can say that the storyline is a tad-bit short, but the optional missions and items you can go search for make the game longer.

Really nice action game with lots of challanges and quest to do. I was afraid of dissapointment but for my surprise its an oustanding action game with a few rpg elements to it. I LOVE IT!! Similiar to Assasins Creed series but with a better combat system and storyline. Get it, you wont be dissapointed. I even got $10 reward gift from bestbuy so I really ended up paying $50 for this game.

Shadow of Mordor is a great action game with solid combat and kill scenes.It also has great stealth and climbing mechanics that are smooth for the most part putting games like asassins creed to shame.

Shadow of Mordor on the surface seems like another generic action/adventure/stealth/brawler in the vein of the Arkham or AC series. The game borrows a lot but manages to make these features it's own. The nemesis system helps create small narratives between you and the NPCs that inhabit the world. In addition the game gives you a massive sandbox and a number of fun tools to play around with. My biggest regret is how bland and lifeless the game world can seem at times.

I have spent over 200 hours doing nothing but stealthing and killing uruks. But I gotta tell you it's been the most fun I've had doing nothing in a game

The graphics and slow motion kills of this game are absolutely awesome and the nemesis engine for generating/leveling up new enemies adds a new element to the game that is definitely very cool.

The game has an in-depth storyline that makes you want to go deeper into the game to find out more. It also has great gameplay that evolves as you go.

This game is amazing. It takes place between the Hobbit and LOTR. It has an open world set up and game play similar to the arkham games. Lots of fun.

I love this game, big fan of middle earth. To play as a ranger is a thrill ride. Love the plot and story line of this game. Creators really took their time & made sure they give you the ultimate gaming experience. Talions character is the best I've played with in a while, makes me think of Aragon & Legolas from Lord of the Rings. Truly truly great game from start to finish.

This game caught my eye during Black Friday shopping because it was 1/2 off...I was so glad I picked it up. It's easy to learn to play, it's viscerally violent, and the story-line was gripping.

If you enjoy Assassin's Creed, stealth, crazy combination moves and kills, and loved the Arkham series and combat, then this game is all that and more! The nemesis system is so incredible that, for the first time ever, I'm playing a game and not even all that interested in the story. The story is really good too though so far, but the nemesis system is a game all on its own!
