There isn't much bad to say about this game. Everything it does has been done before, just not as well. The open world is massive, but fraught with danger. Combat is intuitive, but realistic in that numbers will overwhelm even the most skilled fighter. The system of gathering information and working your way through the ranks of enemies is brilliant and fun. Overall, this game is excellent, and have very few flaws. The ones it does have are minor at worst. You must own this game on whatever system you can play it on. An experience not to be missed.

Bought this game for my son and he absolutely loves it! Supervised online gaming really works for him!! Great graphics and levels. Long time fun!

I bought a PS4 and got 3 games ready to go, Dragon Age:Inquisition, The Last of Us Remastered, and this one. So needless to say all three are many of the top 10 playstations titles lists, and just so you know...I played this last. meaning I was more looking forward to the other 2 games. Regardless of how good the game is I can't say it was 5 stars because I just blasted through 2 five star games. This was/is a really good game with some re-playability. Not a 20 hour and toss away like some games or a rental. Worth a buy if on sale. Fun to play...

I love this game. I'm a fan of LOTR, and the fact that this plays like an Assassin's Creed game is icing on the cake. Best game they've had yet.

i bought this game due to all the great reviews. if you have a ps3 and a ps4, make sure to get the ps4 version. it is a million times better

Great game if you are into Lord of the Rings. I guess it would be good for first person shooter fans as well. Got it at a great price too!

This is a good addition to Lord of the Rings story. If you like Lord of the Rings and assassin's creed, then you would love this game. The only bad thing is that it isn't multi- player.

This game is so addicting to play and so much fun. Graphics are great and controls are smooth. I'm not a big lord of the rings person, I actually didn't know it had anything to do with it. I have most of the bigger game titles for the ps4, and this is definitely the best of them. Story line wasn't the best but again, so much fun to play it really didn't matter.

I like to compare this game to the Batman Arkham series, as others have. Your character is upgradeable, the tier system of Sauron's army is really cool, and the graphics are great.

I am currently about 25% through the game and so far am enjoying it quite well. The fights do get a little repetitive but the mechanics and gameplay make it fun enough not to matter.

This game was an excellent game for what it is. If you like the lore of LOTR and the gameplay of games like Assassins Creed then you will probably really enjoy Shadow of Mordor.

I'm a big Lord of the Rings fan, so I've been looking forward to this game. I really enjoyed it; the Nemesis System is a nice feature.

This game is absolutely amazing! The graphics alone are mind blowing. The story is an interesting one, and the orcs are super creepy! A downfall is you do not have the option to change skins yet. But they say they are working on that! But you do get to switch between 3 characters. Overall. It is an amazing game that is definitely worth your time and money!

Excellent game has action, adventure I really like it the only downward could be no multiplayer but after all I don't care playing alone.

Game was really good as far as plotting goes, and the over game playing experience was great. Mixture of Assassin's Creed and batman.

I was waiting for a LOTR game in next gen and finally got it. Open world map, you choose what mission to do next or simply fight Orcs along the way. Fighting system feels great and challenging when battling multiple enemies and high rank Orcs. There are different approaches to fighting and to complete missions. Many hours of playtime. Highly recommended!

I am looking forward to beating this game this week. The battle system is intuitive, The graphics are awesome and the game play is spot on. I cant say anything bad about this game.
