The fighting is so easy once you get the basics and a ton of replay value. Best game in a long time that I've played

Shadows of Mordor can get redundant with some similar missions, but it provides a lot of quality, immersive gameplay in a well-constructed Tolkien world.

This is a very fun game for anyone who enjoys having a story plus some "open world" style play. There is a main story arc but several side quests to earn more points and you can wander around the areas for as long as you like encountering enemies. I really like the LOTR and Hobbit movies so it was a lot of fun to play in a similar setting. Also, I had this game for the PS3 and the cut scenes would loose picture or sound but the PS4 version seems to have fixed this.

this game out of nowhere. i wasnt expecting much from this game but i was wrong. its hard and fun with fun combat

This game is one on my favorite titles by far on ps4 you just do not hack in slash you actually have to perform perfect counter moves and the nemesis system always changes like a chest match. I can't wait to see the dlc material and hopefully there will a part 2 to this game. Great graphics and gameplay and story.

Great game - the Nemesis System for creating rivals is a big breakthrough in games, and something you will probably see copied a lot in the future.

The combat alone makes this game worth buying. The world is also well realized and was a lot of fun to explore.

This game is truly awesome! It's similar to the open world aspects of both Skyrim and the Assassins's Creed games. The gameplay is very fun and you can easily lose yourself for hours chasing down your next target or mission. Highly recommended.

This is an excellent game. Combat is about as fluid and fun as you will find anywhere (even more so than the Batman Arkham games), story and visuals are more than passable, and by the end once you unlock most of Talion's perks, you will feel very powerful. Highly recommend and hope this becomes a franchise.

I was reading some of the reviews and getting a bad feeling about this game. Decided to finally try it out and this game is fantastic. The game is so much fun, I had barely done any of the story. I just spent most of the time killing Captains and Warlords. Story is not so great. I love the Nemesis system.

This is a great game. Plays much like Assassin's Creed or the Batman/Arkham games. I've played one dlc where you possess the one ring - very cool!

Great game for any LotR fan. Excellent combat mechanics, plenty of side-missions, and although I haven't finished it yet, a good story as well.
