Sleeper Hit of the Year

With a few more tweaks this game could have been in the conversation for Game of the Year. Come on, who doesn't enjoy killing Orc's? Good times !!

Assassin's Creed + LotR = happiness

The open-world aspect is a familiar one but still has a fresh feel to it. If you love LotR, Assassin's Creed and the Batman Arkham series, you will love this.

Decent combat, tends to drag on.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried and tried to keep playing this game, because the combat can be really fun dismembering groups of orcs at a time, but i just kept getting sidetracked from the story. It felt like a combination of assassin's creed and batman, which isn't a terrible thing, but it made it hard for me to focus on the story and easily get caught up in killing commanders and whatnot.

Wonderful Fun

I'm not a fan of Lord of the Rings at all, which is perfectly fine for this game. This big selling point of this game is the game play and nemesis system. Definitely worth checking out.

I love RPGs and the lord of the rings and this just hit it right in the spot
