excellent game excellent gameplay, for adult only.

its ok i had to trade it in great game but it gets boring fast did no finish it.

If you're looking for a game that makes you feel like a swordsman in an action movie then this game will do the trick. If you've played the Batman: Arkham games then you'll be familiar with the combat system, and it carries over well to swordplay. Fighting large groups of orcs and annihilating them to the sights and sounds of your blade skills is highly satisfying. The system of ranking orcs is a nice touch, especially when you die to an orc and he recognizes you upon your return; it really adds weight to the fights and helps create a personal grudge to some of the battles. On the downside, I didn't find the story particularly engaging and I thought some of the boss fights were anticlimactic. Overall, it's a worthwhile game in its own right and is sure to satiate your appetite for combat, especially in this time when there aren't a whole lot of worthwhile games out for the PS4.

Money well spent. So much to see and do in the expansive open world you inhabit. (Middle-earth) The nemesis system is the meta-game that will keep you playing long after the 30+ hour singleplayer campaign.

It really fits the stories behind the hobbit. And also contain good game playing

One of the best games I played all year! The graphics are incredible on the PS4 and the game play and controls are spot on. Great open map to free roam and complete main or side missions at your own pace.

The nemesis system is a unique approach to changing your encounters with your enemies and can provide more depth to what little depth there is. Combat system feels like the Arkham games and navigation/traversal is reminiscent of the Assassin's Creed titles. Worth a rent as I found it to get "old" quickly.

Mixing the mechanics Batman, Assassin Creed and a Middle Earth setting create a great game. The nemesis system made some of the most memorable video game moments I've experienced. The battles with the Chiefs become repetitive after a while though.

This is one greatest games I have ever played in the Play Station history.

If Batman: Arkham Asylum and Assassin's Creed had a kid, it would be this game! You must play this game if you like this game type. The GOTY version was recently released for PS4 and XBOX-One, but for PS3 or 360, you'll need this version. I got the platinum trophy on the PS4 relatively quickly. Enjoy!

The graphics are great, but what makes this game exceptional is the nemesis system. It is amazing having foes remember you and have their actions influenced by how you previously dealt with them.

Fun combat system and good story although I felt the plot driven game play to be quite short. Nemesis system that creates bosses is awesome and what makes this game stand out as different from similar games like Assassin's Creed and Arkham games.

Even if you're not a fan of the movies or books, you just need to be a fan of well made, fun to play 3rd person games. Vast roaming ability, great story line, and flat out a lot of fun to play.
