You get Shadow of Mordor. Very good game! The orcs struggle of power to become captains is very interesting. If you like Assassin's Creed and the Batman games, I highly recommend this game!

After playing last of us this is a nice change. Where last of us was tense and heavy, this game is fun. Controls are great and love the combat.

This game is not an adaptation of a LOTR film but definitely stands up on it's own. The open world and nemesis system provides a unique experience that will require strategy and patience.

My overall impression is that it's a fun game to just sit down and mash some buttons. The open world feel is great and the game play is fluid.

I did not feel the game had the best start with the story but the more I played, the more I became invested in the story of Talion (the main character.) Although the map isn't as big as some other free roam games, it is full of danger and things to do. The game may feel easy at times but things can quickly get out of hand if you go into things unprepared. The Dynamic system of Ork generals also works very well, making each fight seem different from the last. Although at times I did find myself killing the same general 3 times.

If you like assassins creed and also like lord of the rings, then this game is for you. my only qualm being it is hard initially and the scenery is a bit repetitive, but still good fun.

If you're a Batman series fan or Assasins Creed series fan, you'll thoroughly enjoy this game. Story is good (not great), graphics are beautiful, combat is smooth. Definitely recommend.

As stated in the summary, the gameplay in this title harkens to Assassin's Creed, however the Tolkien-inspired setting is a welcome addition. Rock solid visuals and mechanics, very well-executed stealth, and plenty for the gore-enthusiast. I wasn't sure I would enjoy this game and still find the control scheme a little daunting, but I have to say I was pleasantly and thoroughly pleased with the early results in this game. I can sit down and kill a fair amount of time just in a small area completing any number of side tasks. Very fun.

Only partway in, but this is goes beyond a simple merge of the great series Assassin's Creed and Batman. It draws many of the great elements from those, but adds a novel system giving personality to the enemy. Uruk captains who hold their own or beat you (which will happen) grow in power and love to find you and kill you again, all while they fight their way up the orc ranks. Character advancement is satisfying. My only concern so far is that the world seems a bit small - but it may get bigger and is lots to explore anyway.

Love the combat. Reminds me of Rocksteady's Batman games. Very fluid action and the story itself is great. Graphics are also well-done.

This game is a different experience, you got killed?, take revenge, the enemy escaped? find him later, no retry screens. Graphics look cool, gameplay is so fun, you can climb everything at a good phase, sword fights are intense, along with your powers and your arrow, you will feel like a badass mounting the beast on the game and help you kill the most orcs you can before your beast dies, or you can attack jump from it and fight, your beast still fights the other guys. Must buy for fans of this: LOTR, Batman arkham city.

After seeing all the great reviews, I figured I'd give this game a shot, and I'm glad I did. A lot of people will conpare it to Assassin's Creed and the Batman games, and I will agree with that. Not in a bad, "I've played this before" sort of way though. Instead it feels as if they took the good parts and left out all the boring extras. Graphics and animations are superb. Easily one of my favorite games of the year.

If you enjoyed the Arkham series and are a fan of the Lord of the Rings/ Hobbit films by Peter Jackson, this should be a no brainer. Mordor boats the same wonderful fight system from the batman games and a similar gam play design. It's an open world in which you find and enable quests which progress the narrative. It's ranking system for villains is interesting but a little thin. Again, if you're familiar with the arkham series (which you should be, they're great! Well the first two at least. ..) then you know what you're getting into. While Mordor really doesn't offer anything truly groundbreaking it's still a massively fun game.

Brutal, bloody, fun. Addicting with a great combat system and graphics. Even ties in to some of the LOTR lore for you die hard fans.

The Nemesis system is the kind of thing I've been looking for with next gen games. It adds a lot of flavor to the open world system.

This game was good but there were some tasks that were a bit confusing and some bosses that were a little too hard. I like how you can avenge your friends and get rewarded.

Love the lord of the rings & hobbit movies so this game is perfect. Visuals are up there & the stories crazy. Highly recommended.

If the Batman games met up with the Assassin's Creed games and had a child, this game would be their baby... what I like about this game, is that is fun, I come from work out the kids to sleep and just play this game.. it gives the freedom to just jump an date fun! Did I mention is fun? Love how the bad guys level up with you, and how if they or you run away they will remember that or if you burn them and they get away next time you see them they will mention just that! Do yourself a favor get the game.

If your a fan of Lord of The Rings then you'll like this. Good graphics and cool story!

Challenging, solid software and a lot of fun. Mix of Batman and Assassin's Creed mechanics. Nemesis system keeps the game going.
