I've really enjoyed this game. It seems like a pretty good riff on Assassin's Creed with some really interesting features. The nemesis system really pulls you into the game and gets you invested in defeating your rivals. I also really appreciate that there are many side-quests and challenges, and there is a great deal of freedom in how you approach puzzles. Stealth, head-on assault, recruiting others to help or do the lion's share of the work.

Game experience is very similar to Batman Arkham city. It is pretty much a sandbox style Middle Earth game. Nice game. Kinda of short for my taste, was able to beat it less than 30 hrs i believe with a little of the side stuff.

This game is basically the combination of Assassin's Creed and the Batman:Arkham games. That's a good thing as the combat system is fantastic. The story is a bit weak and the controls are not that great. Also the nemesis system, the big original thing to this game, works well until you run into an area where 6-8 of the captain's are then it becomes very difficult. I definitely recommend this to people but, with the big holiday season coming up, I'd say to wait on this if you're only looking to spend money on a few games this Fall.

Who doesn't want to roam around MIddle Earth. If you are a fan of RPG games you will love this. Many main missions and so many side missions and power missions, hunts for relics and many other things to do you won't know what to do next. Character upgrades and weapon upgrades are numerous in this open world realm. When you get to the point where you have to kill the warchiefs game starts to become rather difficult and requires stealth and planning. Ureck warchiefs and Ureck veteran captains and ther army will chase you down in battle so use caution. There are two main mission story lines to follow that will provide a great challenge. After killing warchiefs and captains you will be able to upgrade your sword, bow, and stealth dagger with runes. When you comlete missions of any kind you will upgrade tallon with abilities that revolve around ranger mode and wraith mode. The enemy will actually make you want destroy them so make sure you do. If you like the Batman games on PS3, you'll enjoy this game. Same engine, so the fighting and animation is very much the same. Although a bit repetitive at times, this game is fun to play. Definitely recommend picking it up!

great game on ps4. wasn't paying attention to this initially but then saw all the good reviews at the end of last year. won't disappoint you if you have the next gen console.

Really fun gameplay, good graphics, and completely addicting thanks to the great Nemesis system.

I think that this game is fantastic. I have played it quite a bit so far, but still have a long ways to go to beat it. I like that it is open world, and that you can choose which type of mission you want to do. Or if you want to go fight a bunch of orcs, you are able to do that. The one thing that i dislike the most about this is that the fighting does get a bit repetitive after a while, but that isn't a huge deal to me.

Everything from the graphics to gameplay is amazing. The path you take in the game can greatly affect how you continue to play. The AI remembers your encounters so you become vested in the outcome. If you lose to a nemesis, he is then promoted and remembers who you are if you go back after him. You, of course, want revenge but he is even more powerful than the first time you fought him. I couldn't ask for a better game.

This game is one of the best out on the market and i wasnt to sure of this game when i first seen it. But i tried it over my friends house and boy was i hooked ever since

This game definitely requires patience and stealth. At first I tired to attack captains and veterans head on, but you'll quickly be swarmed by their followers. Once you start to plan your attack; you'll enjoy this game!

This game is so good not because of it's story or graphic even both aspects are very good. The best part of the game is it's battle system. Also the funny dialogues.

Story line is pretty cool, but the final antagonist battles are weak. After beating the story mode, it's still pretty fun to run around and mix it up taking the sneaky approach or taking on a swarm or Uruk Hai kamikaze style. Use mind control to turn the Uruk Hai against each other, and to tame wild beasts which you can then mount and ride. Best of all is the awesome combat and brutal executions you can perform.

If you are looking for a game that has great gameplay mechanics and a pretty well written story, then this is the game for you!

This is a game that is easy to get lost in. I have spent many hours playing this game. I really enjoy the open world feel of this game and the way combat is handled.

Take the best elements from Assassins Creed, Arkham City, and Farcry 3; stir gently and top it off with a secret ingredient called the Nemesis system; set in the Lord of the Rings universe. What do you get.....only the best action adventure game that one can sink their gaming chops into. What you end up with is the perfect recipe for a perfect game. Go ahead, you know you want to.....just get it and enjoy.

I am not really into slash and hack games or LOTR, but this was really good. The Nemesis systems was a nice surprise, it was great to see how your game actions changed how it played out. The game was a good length about 15-20hours and is entertaining. Some parts get a little repetitive but enjoyed the player progressions and enough variety to keep you engaged. If you haven't picked it up, give it a go,.

this was an excellent game on the PS4. The new nemesis system was fun. Experiencing different enemies and fighting to advance them, or keep them from advancing was a great challenge. Every mission was a good test of your skills, and the upgrade system was a good balance. The only negative part of the game was the disappointing challenge of the ending mission. I expected it to be much harder than it was.
