Fun fun fun the combat in this game is so viceral I love God of war and the combat in this game is so fluid just like that and hunting the wraith is so fun must buy if you like action games even if you don't like lord of the rings

Fantastic game. Haven't played a game this good in a while. Reminds me of first batman arkham game.

Truly a new experience in gaming combined with the beloved lord of the rings franchise= a must buy.

Wouldn't you know it............The game not many saw coming, wasn't over-hyped like many others, ended up being better than everyone knew, expected and even hoped for. This game is simply awesome. Do yourself a favor and grab it when you can. That is, if you haven't yet already of course.

Right now, Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor is my main contender for game of the year, simply because, in its lack of pretension, its attention to detail and its understanding that video games first and foremost should be fun, it puts everything else I’ve played recently in its long shadow.

Shadows of Mordor offers an Assassin's Creed feel to a Lord of the Rings environment. Due to a significant amount of side missions and also targeting specific captains of Sauron's army, Shadows of Mordor is a game that is not only hard to put down, but offers hours of new gameplay as well.

A few months ago, I wasn't even considering buying this game. But after hearing how good this game was, I decided to give it a try. Good thing I did, because I have enjoyed everything in this game, especially the combat system and the difficulty. Didn't expect a LOTR game to be this good!

Love combat scene and story line but graphics where not too great.

Play as Talion, a former Ranger of Gondor, returned to Middle Earth seeking vengeance against Sauron's forces -- awesome combat, great animations, and the randomized war chiefs make this title stand out among open world games. A great Middle-Earth fix until the Battle of the Five Armies!

I borrowed this game from a friend and was hooked immediately. Fun to play and full of content.

Great game play, great story, end fight could have been better.

I sat down with this title and played it almost non stop from beginning to end. The gameplay is engaging and the ability to collect everything in the game was challenging yet not overwhelming. Replay value comes with the DLC. I'm not a big LOTR fan but I enjoyed this game very much.

A little rough in the beginning due to the overwhelming amount of enemies charging at you. Once you start getting the different abilities available things quickly become delightful. Graphics are gorgeous, world is open and expansive. This is one of the best games of the year so far.

This is essentially a batman game set in The Lord of the Rings universe which makes it epic!!

Nemesis system is brilliant, but there's less to do overall than I would have liked. It feels like Assassin's Creed 1, where there's a great foundation upon which an outstanding series can be built, but it's not quite there. More content/varied locals/varied enemies and you'll have a true blockbuster. What's here is very very fun to play however.

Fun, violent, gory. Not for kids. Great graphics and controls.

Middle Earth? Assassins Creed? Mixed all together to make a wonderful game. Just taking my time to make sure it is perfectly done.
