Graphically the game is beautiful on the PS4. The story is your typical revenge adventure story. They killed your wife and kids now you must hunt them down and kill them all. Now aside from that the game has a lot of unique features. I call it a hack and slash hybrid. There's lost of things to do aside from the main story.

Plays very similar to the Batman games but set in the Lord of the Rings universe.

If you like Assassin's Creed and Lord of the Rings, you should love this game.

If you enjoyed any of the assassins creed games you will love your time in Middle Earth slaying goblins and making your rise to the top. Even if you didnt enjoy assassins creed i recommend giving this a whirl anyways. I only compare the open world dynamics

This game exceeded my expectations! The graphics during gameplay are incredible, especially during scenes where it is raining! The fighting is brutal and the concept behind the way the game progresses is really interesting. Really happy with my purchase!

An excellent game if you liked the Arkham series of games or Assassin's Creed.

After a full day of work and family, unwinding by hunting Orcs is as good as it gets! The games Nemesis system is awesome and creates memorable experiences, especially when the same foe narrowly gets away from you 3 times and keeps coming back to gloat.

It feels like an Assassin's Creed rip off...and that's the greatest thing ever. It takes everything that game does well, and makes it it's own and it becomes an enjoyable game, with fun combat and lots to do. The game lacks a bit after you beat the story and pick up the collectibles, but overall excellent game.

The game plays very similar to the batman games. But is a lot more responsive and is actually more fun to watch yourself killing orcs like nothing. The game starts to get even more fun as soon as you unlock more skills. Overall this game is very good.

U know for a game about a movie this is the best one yet. Usually movie game titles suck. This one is a winner.

If you've ever played any of the prior Lord of the Rings games you probably weren't very impressed. Shadows of Mordor resembles the recent Batman games that people love. If you liked the Batman games odds are you will like Shadows of Mordor. The Nemesis system ensures a unique play experience for every person.

Game has a great story and flawless gameplay. I would pass it to a friend.

I play a lot of video games (every AAA title and a lot of indies) and this is the best game that I have played this year.

This is my first experience with a quality lord of the rings game. The gameplay is addictive although a bit repetitive ,just when I started defeating enemies easily the action ramped up and I was having to be more strategic. Not a game for kids !
