VERY DIFFICULT TO PLAY WITHOUT A GUIDE!

I am trying to use some of the internet guides that are available, but so far nothing has been really useful and have not gotten much beyond the beginning level and I am starting to lose interest. I cannot believe they didn't come out with a hardback guide for this, it really needs one.
