Brilliant. Underrated. Epic. The Nemesis system of Shadow of Mordor is the benchmark all future games should be measured against. It is a great tool for progression in the game. I have platinum trophy in the game and finished 100% completion. Loved every minute of it.

This game is absolutely amazing! It brings together all of the things i love... Tolken, stealthy fighting, story, great graphics and so on. Ive been playing it night after night a few hours at a time, and some nights way more, i look at the clock and have no idea where 4 hours went. I thought i was reaching the end of the game as the map was getting sparse. Nope. It opens up to another land with another army to fight new landscapes, and creatures, and more missions, and story. I never thought killing orks would be this fun. It literally never gets old.

I cannot explain how much I love this game! It has everything you could want....open world maps, quest lines and side quests, decapitations and then there is the Nemesis engine that just makes me want more and more!

This is truly the first game I purchased that feels truly next gen. I completed every side mission, bonus mission, little task this game throws at you because it was truly a joy to play. If your into the Lord of the Rings story this has some cool insight into the back story to the creation of the rings that I found to be enjoyable. The game plays like the love child of the assassins creed series and the arkham series. if you have a choice between this and AC: Unity, BUY THIS! highly recommended.

So I will say first off that this game came be hard at first but if you put some time into it and run the missions first it gets a lot easier to play. I love it and would buy it for a friend

this game was not too stretched out, it keeps you engaged....when an orc kills you, there are consequences in the game and thats what keeps you coming back for more.....vengeance!

Let me start by saying you do a lot of killing in this game. A LOT. Many orcs will die by your blade by the time you are done and that is nearly all the fun in this game. I'm a big Middle Earth fan and while the story isn't much to write home about, it's put in a great setting in an area of the world that hasn't been explored much. The game is very much the child of Assassin's Creed and the Batman Arkham series, which takes IMO the best from both worlds. It's just plain fun. But like the Assassin's Creed games, SoM can get repetitive at times and after a while despite the "Nemesis" system for orcs, they all just seem the same. But it's a great game and it can be a lot of fun for the right price. it's also pretty possible (don't want to say easy) to 100% this game for you completionists out there.

I absolutely loved this game, It is very similar to the assassins creed games, but with a LOTR twist on it. If you love both of those things, you will go crazy with this game!

I love the entire world of Middle Earth, and a game that does not focus on Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit is refreshing and it is so enjoyable to play a different story!

Great LOTR game. The graphics are fantastic as well as the gameplay. It is like a hack-n-slash but with rpg elements. The ability to upgrade moves and weapons makes it have more depth. It can be a bit repetitive.

Such a fun game. If you like the Batman Arkham games or Assassin's Creed, then this game game with be right up your alley. I really enjoyed the fact that if you lose a fight, then the enemy becomes stronger. So there is an acutal penalty for "dying." Only downside for me is that once you beat the game there's not a lot of replay value unless you're going for a platinum trophy. I would highly recommend.

I had a great time playing this game. Without giving away much any spoilers, there's a particular hunchbacked character that makes an appearance in the game, and sings and whatnot as you go about your business on one mission. Easily my fondest memory of the game. The Nemesis system is genius, it'll be interesting to see a bunch of developers copy it in games coming out in the next few years.

By far the best Lord of the Rings title to be produced. The game is beautiful, fluid and all around fun. A little chaotic to understand the map/mission system at first, but you will pick it up fast.

I don't know anything about the Lord of the Rings books or movies but it did not stop me from enjoying this game. Similar and better than any Assassins Creed with the combat from the Batman games.

I had a lot of fun playing This game. The nemesia system is a great new way to explore possible stories and play styles. The beginning was difficult if you decide to just jump right in and slaughter orcs. My only issue is i completed it. And once you conquer saurons army theres not much to do. It doesn't have much replay value but is definitely worth adding to your collection.

My son loves this game. He can't get enough of it. I have yet to play it but have watched him and it looks really cool! Good graphics as well.

The graphics are very well done and I have encountered no bugs which is refreshing in a day and age when alot of games come out buggy as heck.

The game is great, stunning graphics, story is solid and the challenge is not so hard you get frustrated and want to quit. I do question why the next gen cost the same price as the ps3 or xbox 360. Makes me wonder if the Next Gen console version isn't getting the full benefit or if they are ripping off the older console with a single price point. Other games prices vary for older generation and newer, but not this game.

Love this add-in to the LOTR series! Exciting gameplay with an in depth storyline. Hours of fun to be had.

I loved this game if your a fan of assassins creed games I would highly recommend it there pretty similar
