I recently purchased Shadow of Mordor and was very impressed by the gameplay. It plays like Assassin's Creed but with its own innovative touches. Definitely worth purchasing if you can find at a bargain price.

If you like the gameplay of the arkham series you'll enjoy this game. The executions never get old. The ranking system always keeps things interesting. A little learning curve when it comes to the controls but once you get used to it you can become a monster. Running into a stronghold and wiping out 50 enemies without being touched. Replay value is the only thing lacking. No multiplayer, no DLC, games about 30 hours with all side quests completed. All and all a game worth buying.

Really good game...I thought it would be like another knockoff for LOTR..but I was wrong..this is a good game..Will keep you engaged for hours..better to get this till exclusives for the ps4 comes out...

I heard it's a similar game to batman game series. However since i have not played the batman game before, similar game style did not bore me. I was disappointed with Destiny and trade it in for Shadow and it is so much better. Even though the story is not that interesting, i love the game play. If you have not played much batman before, i definitely recommend Shadow. Many games have been too easy thesedays but this game was definitely not too easy (maybe i just suck at it)

This game came out of nowhere and really did surprise me. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought. Decent graphics, nothing mind blowing, but the nemesis system is something you will fall in love with. Feeling like this is a living breathing world where even the enemies are trying to succeed is unlike anything in gaming. Hopefully they incorporate it into more games. Even though you'll die a lot, the game isn't too difficult for anyone to pick up and have a good time with.

This game is pretty amazing from the beginning to the end. The combat system is enjoyable and I will recommend to not do all the main mission ..it is a short game Be ready to kill a lot of uruks !!!

Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor is one of the best Lord of the Rings games ever released. It mixes the combat of Batman Arkham series and the stealth approach of the Assassin's Creed series and makes it their own. The game offers clear visuals, decent dialog, serviceable story, fluid combat and Tolkien lore. And last but not least the nemesis system that adds a whole new level of strategy by making each fight make a difference in the hierarchy of the orc enemies.

I love The Lord of the Rings story. It was great to play a game in that universe that didn't involve characters from the main story. If you like third-person action games, you will love this one.

Gameplay can get frustrating if you are just learning how to play it, but once you get comfortable with objectives and how to manipulate other characters opens up a pretty fun gaming experience. Feels like Assassin's Creed set in Middle Earth...

This is a very fun game. It's not a deep RPG but has several aspects of RPG's that are interesting such as upgraded abilities and armor. This is definitely one of my favorite games on the PS4

If you love open world stealth in the vein of Assasins Creed and/or love LOTR, this is a great game. It tells a new tale in Middle earth but sticks true to the lore and the animation and character models closely resemble the Peter Jackson Movies. Positives: Visual design is strong, voice acting is great, plenty to do, great nemesis system, fun Wraith powers, combat is simple to learn but still has depth. Negatives: Camera takes some getting used to and could do with zooming out more in big fights, map isn't as clear, parts of the world feel too confined.

Shadow of Mordor is a have that kinda of entered from out of nowhere. It combines combat from the Arkham series in a LotR shell. If you recently played Amazing Spider-Man 2, you will probably become bored with combat as they are very similar. Plenty fun, lot of side content, and the nemesis system allows the game to produce new sub-bosses from random enemies in the world. It's not completely groundbreaking but I found myself have more fun with this than I did Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag or Watch Dogs, two similar games from Ubisoft also on PS4.

I had heard about this game but paid it no attention. What a foolish move on my part. I was in a Best Buy store & had seen interviews & commentary by the developers of this game. I saw gameplay & I immediately pre ordered it. This is a game with not a big advertising budget nor did it need it. This is a sleeper hit. Everything from the combat to the nemesis system is great to the upgradable runes. I'm glad I have this gem of a game in my collection

Great gameplay and plot development. The combat is very similar to Assassin's Creed (not a bad thing). Highly recommended to anyone that is looking to pick up a game for the weekend.

I found it to be a great story and has wonderful graphics. It is a little more challenging than a beginner should play. I had a hard time figuring out the controller movements and coordination. Other than that, it's a good game.

I've really enjoyed my time with Shadow of Mordor. If you enjoy the combat system from the Rocksteady series of Batman games, then you will really like the combat in this game. The story is okay, but otherwise I like the game.

Great graphics good game play decent story must own on next Gen can't say enough about the nemesis

So far this is a fun game to play. It has awesome graphics. The only thing that I don't like is the controls seem to be a little touchy, which takes some getting used to. The story line is great, and makes for a great time.

game play is awesome. Love the Creatures that kill you taunt you and make you want to go back after them again. Only thing I wish is multi-player option would have been nice
