Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the engaging gameplay, compelling story, and innovative Nemesis System in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Many also praise the game's beautiful open world and responsive controls. However, some players find the difficulty challenging, and a few note limited replayability after completing the main story. The game's strengths clearly outweigh its weaknesses for most players.

Great sword slinging extension of middle earth
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fans of Lord of the Rings and new comers alike can enjoy this game. I personally like battle and up close sword swigging games. This game gives me a lot of action as i battle orcs and follow an interesting story line! You use a variety of tools such as your sword, bow, and wrath powers.

Great game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game plays well for a co-opt game but the single player is wonderful in that no mission plays the same and the season pass gives you much more dlc content.

Great step foward for sandbox action
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game takes the Rocksteady Batman fighting engine and marries it perfectly with the exploration of Assassin's Creed. Wonderful under the radar game.

Ok game.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I expected it to be different. It looks like you have one target after the other. Nothing to explore.

Repetitive & boring
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have played for a week and just don't see how this game is worthy of more than 2 stars, which is a shame because I am a fan of Lord of the Rings. The game play is repetitive. The fighting moves are cool, but I feel like I am playing Sega-mortal combat and need to write down button sequences to remember the special moves/tricks. I find myself comparing this game to a less entertaining version of Assassins Creed. Poor gameplay, awkward controls, confusing map, and an open world that doesen't really draw you in. Just my opinion. Maybe this game got 4+ stars because there is nothing out on the market for PS4 aside for shooters, remakes, and yet another iteration of some sports genre. I am hoping the holiday season brings something new. I was excited to get my hands on a PS4 last year but if I can't get a good game it is just going to be a nice looking paper weight before long.

boring
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.its a mix of batman and assassins creed. you just roam around a big map doing the same things over and over. the stealth is just you crouch down as the enemies fail to see you in the wide open areas.
