Talk about milking a franchisee, they are doing just that. I was totally like wow I just wasted my money. It looks good but I just found it boring. Not my game at all.

I played for a couple hours and found myself bother by the graphics in this ps3 version after waiting long weeks for this to be release on the ps3 after ps4 version was release. I was disappointed at that time due to me not owning a ps4. So i feel this was badly worked on the ps3 version as it seems they did not take advantage of how much ps3 can offer in graphics. It feels like a ps2 version instead. it felt rushed on the delivery date and feels that developers didn't take ps3 version seriously. Overall it is a great game.

This is for the PS3 version, only! This game just doesn't work. Apparently, this is a known issue for the PS3 version, which makes me wonder why it was released in the first place. I'd be fine if there was no Nemesis system and the game still functioned, but I couldn't even get through the prologue without the game freezing completely. Don't buy on old gen systems!

Idk if it because I have an older PS3 but this game runs awful on it. I see all of the potential for how great of a game that it is. The problem area is that it does not run smooth what so ever! You will have clipping, cut-scenes dont run well and the attack system gets broken by the lag. I would buy this for next gen in a heartbeat.

Game is buggy and full of problems, sound cuts out or just get stuck game slows down to crawl when to a hand full of enemy's are on screen. Game should of just stayed on the New consols.

This is a great game. It plays very similar to some the Assassins Creed games, but is also totally different at the same time. If you are an AC fan, you will probably really like this game, but if you are a Middle Earth fan, then this game is a most have.

Terrible port of a great game

Shadow of Mordor is a great next gen game that's terrible in current gen. The framerate is terrible. The screen tears with fast movement. The games has 30 second loading times EVERY time you pause the game. The graphics look like old PS2 games which is unacceptable by today's standards. Look up any comparison video on Youtube and you'll see what I mean. If you really want the game to play great, get it for Xbox One or PS4. Skip out on the PS3/Xbox 360 versions. You'll be glad you did.

    It's fun but...

Good game, great graphics and details yada yada. If I'd known what the game play was like before buying this i would have got the new Assassin's Creed instead. Pretty much the same game with a few tweaks and different characters. Because this game is set in Mordor of Middle Earth the entire scenery is very bleak and lacks any real color. Lots of grey, black, and red, not much else. Game is still fun but like i said, you're pretty much buying Assassin's Creed Middle Earth edition.

This is a great game, but definitely something that needs to be played on next gen. With that said, I still enjoy it very much. Another black friday pickup that was worth it.

    Beware of the Glitch

Overall it seems like it would be a fun game. However this was poorly done for the PS3. I won't delve into the graphics but rather the game play. There has not been a time yet I have played where there has not been some glitching or rough and jerky cut scenes or battles. I have been stuck on a wall and could not get free. I have had multiple Uruk's floating at the same time. I would avoid this game based on its lack of smooth playability on the PS3.
