I finally gave up on this game and I have never done that before. Probably because my OCD got the better of me and searching every nook and cranny got tedious, and caves and cave fights were all the same.

This game was obviously not met for last-gen platforms. From what I am told, it is a great game for the Playstation 4, but it runs terrible for the 360. Constant load screens, sloppy graphics and constant slowdowns.

Pre ordered game to have bonus codes & extras, codes don't work & won't work because of an error. Game quality isn't as good as what was expected. Pretty didisappointed.

bought as a gift for a friend, it wouldn't play...no matter what we tried. Then we tried to exchange it for the PS3 version and Best Buy didn't want to let us do it. They didn't want to let us return it at all. I'd purchased this as a black Friday deal and returned it a week later. They also made us pay the difference from the sale price. Really not fair since it's the company's fault the game wouldn't play.

I got my game the day after release. None of my DLC codes work including the digital copy of "Flame of Arnor" DLC and the game itself doesn't work. It's pays dialog for 5 seconds, skips, then crashes. Never even got to play. I'd recommend this to a friend but not on Xbox 360.

Game would not install, technical support could not solve the issue. The game has since been pulled from the online store and has known issues. I am returning this product immediately very dissatisfied

The game is a lot of fun and the story line is very. Cool. I do expect with any game to be ale to choose what level I want to. Play at which does not appear to be the case with this game. I am a casu al gamer that likes to keep things simple and this game you have to get good at otherwise you do die a lot. Still worth it to me as I am a huge LOTR fan and this game fills the need there. I would say that this is the first decent LOTR themed game for adults. The Lego games are also good.

I am not a fan of Lord of the rings, but I do enjoy a good game and found this to be nice. I've watched the movies and the story is definatly bizarre, but fun. The only thing regarding the movie is just the character you play, the ring, and the setting; everything else is different, but you get awesome powers, decent control scheme, and wicked power ups. Its a new take on an evergrowing franchise, just like FU. (LOL!)

Awesome awesome gameplay!! The only downside is that it's a terribly optimized port. I had a blast playing it but it was marred by slow load times and terrible texture loading/popping. If you can get past the technical flaws it's a great game!

Excellent mix of Assassin's Creed, Prince of Persia, and the combat of the Arkham games, all set in the lore of Tolkien's Middle Earth. I had the initial problem of my 360 not recognizing my pre-order codes, but a patch fixed that and I had no problem with the initial install. Some of the cutscenes begin and then just go black which is a little frustrating. I love the "Nemesis" system of Orcs that defeat you and remember how you hurt them in previous battles. Not sure why some think this is short, unless they are only playing the story missions...I have 35 hours of gameplay in and I am only at 24% completion. I personally like The War in the North better as an overall game because it has a larger variety of environments, enemies, and gameplay options. Overall though Shadows of Mordor is an impressive game for any 360 owner or fan of the Lord of the Rings.
