This game does justice to the world of middle earth. It borrows the best elements of the batman arkham series, assassin's creed and tomb raider. Highly recommend

Very challeneging, harder learning curve than AC or Bataman series. Game has an interesting UI leveling up. They reward enemies for killing you by makeing them stronger so the more you die, the hard the game gets. Interesting turn on games like this. Graphics are top notch but parents be warned... very gory with no options to turn it down.... not for younger children (My 9 year old is dissappointed) but just too many kill scenes in great detail....

The game is pretty solid. But what sets this game apart from the rest is the addictive, endless Nemesis System.

ME: Shadow of Mordor is a fantastic game. The Nemesis system really shines & make this so much more than just a hack & slash game. You really need to think your way through every battle or you'll be dead & your enemies will be stronger for the next battle. While there is not much new or groundbreaking about the game, Shadow of Mordor's strength is the way it blends all the different elements together superbly. This game is well worth the price.

This game is the best game I've played all year! The elements of AC style sneaking and assassinating are well implemented, and the mechanics for Sauron's captains and the individuality combined with the personal interactions with them make this game something special. No one boss is the same, and they grow and change from not only interacting with you, but with things that happen off screen with other bosses and experiences. Love this game.

Really does smash up elements of the Batman combat system and AC open world stealth. Can't put it down even though it gets repetitive toward the end.

If you're a fan of the "Lord of the Rings" then this game will not disappoint! It is set in the time between the "Hobbit" and the "Lord of the Rings' trilogy. This story is it's own and does not cover or contain any events from the books. Finally a game that can stand on it's own and does not repeat the same old story's that we have already read, watched on the big screen, or played in previous installments of middle earth lore.

This game is an excellent evolution in the combat systems that made the Assassin's Creed and Arkham games so wildly popular. It's a refreshing take on Middle Earth, which is great because too many LotR titles rely too heavily on telling the story of the fellowship again, again, and again. Nemesis system is unbelievable. Adds huge amounts of complex stories to the game and the world map feels really unique. Buy with confidence!

This game was one of the best things I've ever owned until I bought destiny. I haven't gone back to play this so I'm not sure if it's good anymore... But me Gusta nonetheless

Awesome graphics and smooth game play. Assassin's creed meets Arkham combat system. Lots of fun!

The graphics are stunning. No noticed slowness anywhere during gameplay. While you have the ability to ignore the story quest, you will need eventually to them to get certain abilities and to move from the first area. The game has huge areas to move through and various types of enemies. When you die, you don't lose anything but you do make enemy stronger that killed you. I have over 24 hours into the game and still love it.

Overall while completing this game with an 100% overall completion Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor was a stunning video game for 2014. With the endless possibilities of strategic, stealth, or just brutally hacking and slashing orcs of modor down one by one was just an amazing feeling. I enjoyed this game very much, it will most definitely be played again after Cod AW, Halo MCC, and Far Cry 4 is completed this upcoming month.

This game is excellent for any Lord of the Rings fan. Gameplay is similar to assassin's creed and the nemesis enemy system is a great feature.
